[email protected] Hi friends! I'm Carly, and I'm a senior social work major here at West Chester with a minor in Spanish. Some days, I'll tell you I want to work with older people, other days I'll want to work in juvenile justice, sometimes it's immigration, and sometimes it's adoption. My absolute crazy "dream job" would be to work for the United Nations or the Peace Corps. No matter where this career takes me, I know I'll be doing something fulfilling that makes a difference for people.
As a social work major, volunteering and helping the community is something that is very important to me. I joined Circle K to get more involved, meet new people, and make a difference. I love all of our service projects and being out in the community and campus. In my three years with Circle K, I've learned a lot about the community and myself. Whether it's making cards for veterans, making dog toys for animal shelters, volunteering with the Salvation Army, or anything in between, I just enjoy knowing that what I'm doing will benefit someone else.
